FELTON - Gary B. Stackhouse of Felton died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, in his home. He was 58.
Mr. Stackhouse was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Ridley Park, Pa., son of the late Robert C. and Anna M. Stackhouse.
He was a member of the Camden Moose Lodge 203 since 1988.
Mr. Stackhouse was a Vietnam veteran who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He enjoyed cooking, painting and driving around in his red Corvette.
Mr. Stackhouse also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Honeybun.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Helen M. Stackhouse; a nephew, Joshua Lee Stackhouse, at home; his two daughters, Michele A. Massarelli and husband Andrew of Millsboro and Angela C. Foraker and husband Wayne of Clayton; brother, Robert E. Stackhouse, and sister, Patricia A. Spangler, both of Marcus Hook, Pa.; six grandchildren, Andrew III, Jessica, Jennifer, Wayne III, Gary and Michael; two foster children, Jason Menard and David Wilson, at home; and an adopted daughter and grandson, Megan McCaully and Cameron Wescott.
Funeral services will be noon Monday in the Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, where friends may call one hour prior.
Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
