Mills, Jr., 47 DOVER - G. Wayne "Herb" Mills, Jr., 47, of Dover passed away on October 7, 2014. Wayne was the owner of Herb's Lawn Care for over 30 years. He was also a commercial waterman since the age of 16, enjoying crabbing and fishing. He enjoyed hunting and running rabbit dogs. Wayne was a big John Wayne fan. He loved joking around a lot and enjoyed "getting their motors running". Wayne loved gardening and was particularly proud of growing his own tomato plants. Wayne is survived by his wife, Beth; his father, Wayne Mills, Sr. of Dover; two sisters, Kimberly Sue Mills-Dill of Dover and Haley Dawn Morris and her husband Charles of Dover; his grandmother, Segrid Mills of Dover; his nieces and nephew, Taylor Dill, Joshua Morris and Makayla Morris; and his pets that he loved as his children, Duke, Phoebe, Corn-Nubbin and Jasmine. A funeral service will be 12 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Capitol Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 401 Kesselring Avenue, Dover, DE 19904.
