Freida Dolby

REHOBOTH BEACH - Freida Dolby passed away on Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2017 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Fred and Nannie A. Dolby. Her father was a State Senator and owner of a granary in Towsend and her mother was a nurse.
Freida was a teacher at Rehoboth Elementary School for 30 years. She was a member of the Teachers Union.
Freida loved her dogs and was a supporter for animal care, especially the S.P.C.A.
She is survived by her cousins, Raymond and Joyce Adkins, Robert T. and Sharon Adkins, Margaret Toadvine and Ralph and Sarah Adkins; good friend, Rosemary Betts Beauregard of Milton; and caretakers, Cheryl Francovic, Beverly Savage, and Lisa Woertz.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Apr. 4, 2017, at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
