FELTON - Fred B. Jarman, of Felton, 46, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Kent General/BayHealth Hospital in Dover, surrounded by a loving family after battling a long illness. He was born on March 2, 1964, in Dover, to Donald P. and Mildred A. Fox Jarman. He was a graduated from Dover High School. He joined the U. S. Coast Guard and served a four year tour on the North Wind. After his tour he became a butcher and contracted Lyme Disease. Fred loved traveling when his health would allow him. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family. Some of his past times were spent fishing, boating, and camping, and most of all sitting on a beach listening to the waves in Ocean City, Md. He survived by his father and mother of Felton; two sons, Vincent P. Jarman and his wife Heather of Ft. Lewis, Wash., and Levi F. Jarman of Cambridge, Md.; daughter. Victoria M. Jarman of Cambridge, Md.; two brothers and their wives, Donald P. Jarman Jr. and Marilyn of Allerton, Iowa, and Mark V. Jarman and Melonie of Little Creek; four grandchildren; along with friends and family. He was loved by all that knew him. Let us not forget his loving caring devoted "Pretty Boy Brutus." Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus St., Dover. Services will be held at noon in the funeral home.
