Dover - Franklin E. Brinkley, born on Jan. 26, 1947 to Martha Hopkins-Daniels and the late Robert Lee Brinkley departed this life on July 8, 2018.Service of celebration will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. at Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 600 N. Church St., Milford. First Visitation will take place on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Evan W. Smith Funeral Services, 518 S. Bay Rd, Dover, DE 19901. Interment, Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Deborah Brinkley; daughters, Keshia Brinkley and Yvette Davenport (Jahi); grandchildren, Carissa James, Kamryn Davenport and Jayden Davenport; mother, Martha Daniels; three brothers, three sisters, and a host of extended family and friends.
