Frank Hercker, 78

MILLSBORO - Frank Hercker of Millsboro, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Monday April 30, 2007, in the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was 78.

He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late, Charles and Mabel (Waller) Hercker.

He was a retired fleet mechanic and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Hercker; two sons, Frank Hercker and Joe Hercker; two daughters, Sandi Ferrara and Tina Borek; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Long Neck Road in Millsboro.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Frank's memory to the charity of your choice.
