MILFORD - Francis R. "Fran" Klosowski of Milford died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 55.

Mr. Klosowski was born Oct. 16, 1951, in New Castle, son of Margaret (Morano) Klosowski and the late Edward F. Klosowski.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Klosowski was employed for several years as a shift foreman with Plastic Materials, Milford, after which he accepted a position as a welder with Baltimore Air Coil, Milford. He remained there until five years ago, when he went out on disability due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, A. Jerry Russell.

He is survived by a son, Matthew R. Klosowski of Claymont; two daughters, Andrea Feeley of Bear and Danielle Klosowski of Milford; his mother, Margaret Klosowski of Milford; four brothers, David E. Klosowski of New Castle, Mark R. Klosowski of Newark, Michael Klosowski of New Castle and Edward Klosowski of Millsboro; and two grandchildren, Noah Klosowski and Colin Feeley.

A service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Patriots Way, Millsboro.

Entombment will follow the service.

Instead of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions to the Delaware Veterans Home Fund, 100 Delaware Veterans Drive, Milford, DE, 19963.
