Francis Deloys 'Dee-Dee' (Weatherly) Walters, 55

DAGSBORO, Del. - Francis Deloys "Dee-Dee" (Weatherly) Walters, of Dagsboro, was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Accomack County, Va., to the late Fred and Willie Mae Weatherly. She departed this life Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md. She was 55.

In addition to her parents, Francis was preceded in death by one son, Roy Jr.; one brother, Ernest; one sister-in-law, Carolyn; and her mother-in-law, Alice Anderson.

Francis Deloys Weatherly married Roy H. Walters on Oct. 15, 1970. They were blessed with four daughters and one son, Brenda Graves (Leroy), Frances Weatherly, Stephanie Copes (Mike), Antonio Walters and Lenise Walters; and 11 grandchildren.

Francis leaves to cherish her memory eight sisters, Loraine Jones, the Rev. Dorothy L. Coles, the Rev. Martha Tankard (George), Anita Weatherly, Linda Miller (Alphonso), Joyce Bright, Margarette Weatherly and Angannette Brittingham (Parnell); two brothers, Rodney Weatherly (Nancy) and Fred W. Weatherly; one special brother, Charles W. Burton (Lorice); special sister, Sara Fisher; four sisters-in-law, Gloria Anderson, Mary Anderson, Shelia Weatherly and Shirley Brown (Derwin); one brother-in-law, Larry Anderson (Shirley); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Christ's Church, Harbeson, and noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
