DENTON, Md. - Frances E. Reinhardt of Denton died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, in Ruxton Health of Denton. She was 79.
Mrs. Reinhardt was born in Denton, daughter of the late George Dewey and Ruth Sullivan (Griffith) Reed.
She was a graduate of Caroline High School in Denton.
Mrs. Reinhardt worked for the Caroline County Board of Education in the cafeterias of North Caroline High School and Denton Elementary School.
She loved to paint pictures with her husband.
Mrs. Reinhardt was a member of the Mid-Shore Chapter of the Archaeological Society where she served as secretary and treasurer. She was also a member of the Soroptimist Society and the Friends of Martinak.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Jones and Rosella Pittinger; and two brothers, George D. Reed and Joseph L. Reed.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Reinhardt of Denton; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph D. and Susan Reinhardt of Frederick and Robert L. and Patricia Reinhardt of Felton, Del.; three sisters, Anna Hignutt of Williston, Evelyn Holland of Denton and Audrey Kubler of Toms River, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Denton Ambulance Squad, 400 S. Fifth Ave., Denton, MD 21629; or to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 38105.
