Frances B. "Bunny" Skinner of Harrington died with her granddaughter, Crystal, at her bedside, Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, in the Milford Center, Genesis Eldercare. She was 88.

Mrs. Skinner was a homemaker.

She loved to read and sit on her front porch in Harrington, waving and talking to everyone who walked up the street. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her face would light up every time her grandchildren and great-grandchildren would walk into the room.

Mrs. Skinner was a member of the Independent Bible Fellowship Church, Harrington, and the Harrington Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Morris E. Skinner in 2001; a son, Robert Myron Skinner in 2002; a brother, Paul Turner; and a sister, Edna Page.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, the Rev. Karl G. and Cynthia Skinner of Warrington, Va., and Danny and Kay Skinner of Milford; seven grandchildren, Guy Skinner, Tanya Burnley, Lisa Passwaters, Robert Skinner, Shane Skinner, Crystal Skinner and Lance Skinner; seven great-grandchildren, Lauren Skinner, Macie Skinner, Lexi Skinner, Dustin Skinner, Ferrin Passwaters, Wyatt Skinner and Blake Burnley.

Services will be 4 p.m. today in the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier. Her son, the Rev. Karl G. Skinner will officiate.
