Frances A. Vick

DOVER - Frances A. Vick, of Dover, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Pinnacle Nursing Home. She was 75. Mrs. Vick was born March 18, 1936, in Detroit, Mich., to the late Francis Kulick and Cora Zigler Kulick. She worked as a crossing guard for over 20 years and had retired from Black and Decker of Easton. Mrs. Vick was a life member of the VFW, Marydel and Goldsboro Fire Companies Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of ABBATE. She enjoyed needlework, bingo but especially spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Vick, 1999; sisters, Evelyn Richard and Helen Frieschmidt; and brother, William Kulick. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Vick and his wife Brenda of Wyoming, Robert Vick of Woodside, Darrin Vick of Centerville, Md.; daughter, Virginia Shockley and her husband Jeffery of Dover; brother, Frank Kulick of Australia; sisters, Janet Kulick of Vienna, Va., Ruth Bowles of Newark, and Marie Tuniff of Rehoboth; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 425 N. DuPont Highway, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Andrews Church, or ABBATE, Kent County, P.O. Box 561, Dover, DE 19903.
