Fletcher James Boyles

CHESTERTOWN,MD - Fletcher James Boyles passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at Bay Health-Kent General Hospital in Dover, Del.
Born on Aug. 29, 1940 in Sudlersville, Md., he was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Stafford Boyles. On Aug. 13, 1966, he married Mary Lee Boyles. Mr. Boyles worked as a carpenter for most of his life, owning his own company, Boyles Construction. He enjoyed rabbit and fox hunting and was a past member of the Cecil County Hounds and Sportsman's Club in Chesapeake City. Mr. Boyles loved to work and make money. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball.
In addition to his wife, Mary Lee Boyles; he is survived by two sons, Charles Boyles, Sr. and his wife Linda of Crumpton, Md., and Kenny Boyles, Sr. and his wife Sandy of Smyrna, Del.; a daughter, Cindy Carpenter and her husband Richie of Chestertown, Md.; a sister, Barbara Heverin and her husband Robert of Dover, Del.; two brothers, Raymond Boyles and wife Hazel of Sudlersville, Md. and Donnie Boyles of Sudlersville, Md.; eight grandchildren, Charles Boyles, Jr., of Massey, Md., Tara Boyles of Elkton, Md., Kenny Boyles, Jr. of Elkton, Md., Crystal Carpenter of Chestertown, Md., Kera Carpenter of Chestertown, Md., Josh Boyles of Smyrna, Del., Jade Boyles of Smyrna, Del., and Jason Boyles of Smyrna, Del.; and one great-grandson, Wyatt Parker Boyles.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, MD, where relatives and friends may call two hours prior (10-12). Interment will follow the service in Sudlersville Cemetery.
