Felicia Faye Lawson, 45

SMYRNA - Felicia Faye Lawson of Smyrna died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was 45.

Mrs. Lawson was born Feb. 12, 1961, in Roanoke, Va., daughter of the late William and Brownie Hodges.

She worked as a nurse for Foulk Manor North, Wilmington, until she became ill.

Mrs. Lawson enjoyed drawing, baking, doing crossword puzzles, crafts and planning parties and family events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Meredith, on Sept. 2, 2006; and a brother, William Hodges.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Lawson of Rehoboth Beach; two daughters, Erica L. Meredith and Sarah Breslin, both of Dover; two stepdaughters, Kristen Lawson of Rehoboth Beach and Lindsay Alchokhachy of Bear; five brothers, Ralph Hodges, J.D. Hodges, Timothy Hodges and Gary Hodges, all of Roanoke, and David Hodges of Florida; two sisters, Wanda Clasbey of Virginia and Vicky Hodges of Smyrna; six grandchildren, Jaxson Alchokhachy, Savanah Alchokhacky, Jakob Meredith, Aryanna Meredith, Tyah Williams and Felisa Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and an extended family of friends.

Celebration of life services will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge, Moose Lodge Road, Wyoming.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720-1633.
