Everett Robert 'Bob' Johnson

DOVER - Everett Robert "Bob" Johnson, 71, of Dover, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at Kent General Hospital. He was born on Aug. 24, 1937, in Georgetown, son of the late Everett H. and Jewell (Gardner) Johnson. Everett served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed for many years with Hartnett Realty & Construction and, since his retirement, at Goodwill Industries. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. Johnson. He is survived by seven children, Eleanor Raye Johnson Cosden of Clermont, Fla., Elizabeth Renee Johnson Kendzierski of Milford, Everett Robert Johnson II of Preston, Md., Eric Roger Johnson of Milford, Eileen Rhonda Johnson Stutes of Lake Mary, Fla., Edward Richard Johnson of Hudsonville, Mich., and Elise Richelle Johnson Steele of New Castle; a sister, Joyce A. Jester and her husband Jim; 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three nephews and a niece. Services will be private. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
