(Shulties) Voshell
DOVER - Evelyn Mae Voshell passed away on January 21, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was almost 102, born on March 4, 1920, daughter of Harry and Anna Mae (Dodd) Shulties.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 76 years, Roy J. Voshell; two brothers, Dawson Shulties and John T. Carey; son, Harry M. Voshell (Marjie); two grandsons, Kenneth R. Papen and Gregory G. Papen.
She is survived by her daughter, June Papen (Richard); daughter-in-law, Janice Voshell; grandchildren, Carol Traegler (Jim), Kathy Papen Lane (Gary), Roy G. Voshell (Victoria), all of Dover, Renee Voshell Hall (Danny) of Clayton, Robin Voshell Romesburg (Dave) of Aston, Pa.; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was a faithful wife, a devoted mother and was dearly loved by her family, especially her grandchildren. She worked at Sears as Unit Control Manager for 26 years. Following her retirement, she worked with her son Harry at B&B Music and volunteered at Kent County Family Court. She was especially proud of being the oldest living graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, having graduated in 1937.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del., where visitation will be two hours earlier. Burial will be 12 noon, Monday, January 31, 2022 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, Del.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
