Evelyn Bailey Hill, 91

DOVER - Evelyn Bailey Hill, of Dover, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2008, in Heritage Nursing Home. She was 91.

Mrs. Hill was born Jan. 28, 1917, in Camden, N.J.

Mrs. Hill worked as a secretary for Lutheran Church House in New York, retiring in 1963.

In 1975 she and her husband John moved to Dover, which was nearer to there vacation home in Rehoboth Beach.

She enjoyed playing bridge and doing other activities with friends.

Mrs. Hill's greatest joy was being with her grandsons and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John R. Hill, in 1997.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her son, Harry A. Daniels of Merrimac, Mass.; and two grandsons, Marc and Stephen Daniels.

Services will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
