HARTLY - Eva Agnes Steele passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at home.
Mrs. Steele was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Templeville, Md. to the late Peter and Antonia Baltrunas
She worked for Fishmans, McCrory's, and Coty's in Dover before going to work for General Foods from the mid 1960's to the mid 1980's. Mrs. Steele loved God and her family, and would give the shirt off her back for anyone. She attended Calvary of God Church. Mrs. Steele loved flowers and animals.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Milton" Steele.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances A. Vest; and her granddaughter, Lisa A. Vest, both of Hartly.
Funeral services will be held 12PM, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
