SEAFORD, DE - Eula Mae Graves passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1933, in Dagsboro, DE, daughter of the late Harry W. and Martha (Pepper) Bunting.
A native Delawarean, Mrs. Graves lived her entire life in Sussex County. She obtained her master's degree in education and enjoyed a lengthy career as a teacher, retiring from the Indian River School District after 30 dedicated years. She loved God, family, and friends and let all know she valued them in her life. Always an avid reader, she transitioned to audio books later in life as her eyesight waned. Playing bridge and other games with friends and family were her favorite pastimes, along with golf and travelling in her younger years . Mrs. Graves will be missed by all those who knew her.
Mrs. Graves was predeceased by her husband, Ralph K. Graves, Sr. of Georgetown, DE; and her son, Ralph K. Graves Jr., of Seaford, DE.
She is survived by her son, Bruce B. Graves (Elaine) of Seaford, DE; her sister, Mary Louise Warrington of Selbyville, DE; her grandchildren, Bryan Graves of Seaford, DE, Kay DiBuo (Tony) of Lewes, DE, Travis Graves of Seaford, DE, Beth Watkins (Daniel) of Baltimore, MD, Dustin Graves (Jeni) of Georgetown, DE, and Kim Madison (Zach) of Downingtown, PA; her seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown, DE.
