Ethel M. Breasure, 83

LAUREL - Ethel M. Breasure, 83, of near Laurel, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Life Care at Lofland Park in Seaford. Mrs. Breasure was born on Nov. 4, 1925, in Galestown, Md., to the late William and Lillie E. Hitchens Massey. She was a poultry farmer for over 40 years mostly growing for Tyson Foods. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Laurel. Mrs. Breasure was preceded in death by her husband, John Levin Breasure in 1997; her son, Bruce Breasure in 1998; and a sister, Myrtle Rust, in addition to her parents. She is survived by a son, John Breasure and his wife Sharon of Laurel; sister, Shirley Cooper of Laurel; four grandchildren, Shawn, Frannie, Bruce, and Terri Lee Breasure; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 1, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S Washington Street, Millsboro, where friends may call at noon. Pastor Don Murray will officiate the services. Interment will be in Line U.M. Church Cemetery, Whitesville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in memory of Ethel Breasure to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
