ROCK HALL, Md. - Emma Grace Jester of Rock Hall died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008. She was 4.
Born on Oct. 23, 2003, in Rock Hall, she was the loving daughter of John F. Jester and Jennifer Lorae Edwards, both of Rock Hall.
She attended Clark's Family Day Care and Jennifer's School of Dance.
Emma loved to dance and performed in her first dance recital this past December.
Emma was well-mannered and considerate, yet outgoing and rambunctious.
She wore her emotions on her sleeve and had a knack for remembering everything.
Emma loved horses, her trampoline (which she just got for Christmas), being outdoors and at the park, the firehouse, tattle-ling on her cousins, Spongebob Squarepants, Chuckie Cheese, drawing, coloring and learning her letters.
Most of all, Emma loved her family and they meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Michaela Lynne Jester; maternal great-grandfathers, Stanford Deel and Herman Edwards; and paternal great-grandmother, Bessie Atkinson.
In addition to her parents, Emma is survived by her sister, Olivia Gagalski of Rock Hall; maternal grandmother, Phyllis K. Deel of Frederick; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Edwards of Lynwood, N.C.; maternal grandfather, Lou Wanex of Secretary; paternal grandmother, Dolores Jester of Rock Hall; paternal grandfather, Herbie Jester of Chestertown; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Deel of Danville, Va.; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Edwards, also of Danville; paternal great-grandfather, John Atkinson of Kennedyville; three aunts; one uncle; and several cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, where friends and family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Interment will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
