Emily J. Moore, 79
Emily J. Moore passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Emily was born on April 6, 1942 to the late Mary Wish Jones and Lewis V. Burrows in Portland, Maine.
She met husband, Wayne in high school and they married shortly after. After working with Playtex in accounts receivable for 30 years, Emily went on to work as the beauty and cosmetics department manager at Camden Walgreens. In her free time, Emily enjoyed singing and crocheting.
In addition to her parents; Emily was preceded in death by husband, Wayne Moore; and son, Philip Moore.
Emily is survived by daughter, Melody Reese of Selbyville; brother, Howard Burrows; and nephew, Paul Burrows.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, DE 19901, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Camden.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions be made to ASPCA.
