OCEAN VIEW - Elizabeth T. Graef (Libby), of Ocean View, Del, passed away, Monday, August 31, 2009 at her home. Libby was born in Delmar, MD, Aug. 9, 1914. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, C. Fred Graef, who was a school administrator for over 40 years; sister, Sallie Mitchell; and brother, Franklin Truitt. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hudson, and husband Charlie; her daughter, Patty McCabe, and husband Gerald; and four grandchildren, Lori Smyth, and husband Sandy, Chuck Hudson, and wife Becky, Kyle McCabe, and wife Wendy, and David Hudson, and wife Sherri. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated member of Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir for over 50 years, Sunday School teacher, trustee, and various other offices. She served in leadership positions in various organizations such as president of the Lord Baltimore Women's Club for 6 years. She enjoyed being a substitute teacher. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mariner's Bethel U.M. Church, 81 Central Avenue in Ocean View, DE. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Libby's memory to Mariner's Bethel U.M. Church, 81 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE. 19970.
