DOVER - Elizabeth G. Thompson, wife of the late Rev. Dr. Herbert W. Thompson, died, while surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 9, 2009. She is survived by her children, Betty R. Brown (Ernest), James W. Thompson (Marion Jean), Linda Stroud (Robert), Elaine Jones (Richard); nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 West Division St., Dover. In addition, a viewing at 10 a.m. and Home going service at 11 a.m. will be held on Friday at the Resurrection Center, 3301 N. Market St., Wilmington. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery.
