Elizabeth E. Willin

SEAFORD - Elizabeth E. Willin, age 99, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Genesis Health Care Center, Seaford. She was born on April 26, 1912, daughter of the late Harley and Sadie Hastings Wilson of Seaford. Mrs. Willin was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Seaford, and the former Seaford Country Club. She and her husband formerly owned and operated the "Willin Motel" until retiring home to Seaford in 1972. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, William Thomas Willin, Sr. in 1994,; beloved daughter, Margaret (Peggy) in 1948; her siblings, Ernest, Virgil and Jack Wilson and Virginia Lingo and Lolita Cordrey; and her daughter-in-law, Marie Willin. She is survived by her sons, William Thomas Willin Jr. of Lewes and John R. Willin and wife Carol of Seaford; grandchildren, Leslie Revira, William F. Willin, Pamela Yingling, and Jessica Willin; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Bridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 299, Seaford, DE 19973.
