Candler, 84

REHOBOTH BEACH - Elizabeth C. Candler of Rehoboth Beach died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 84.

Mrs. Candler was born Oct. 16, 1922, in New York City, daughter of the late Harry and Madeline Lemneos.

She was a homemaker,

She loved to read and do puzzles.

Mrs. Candler was an active member of the Laurel Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Candler, in 1985; and a brother, George Lemneos.

She is survived by a son, Edward H. Candler of Anchorage, Alaska.; a daughter and a son-in-law, Veronica and James Burke of Milford; a brother, Harold Lemneos of Wilmington; a sister, Katherine Lemneos of Newark; a grandson and a granddaughter-in-law, Mark and Nancy Dayton of Catonsville, Md.; and a granddaughter, Kelly M. Dukes of Greensboro, N.C.

Services will be private.

Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover.
