Betty, as she was better known to her family and friends, was a member of the Willow Grove Church of God, and worked as a Supervisor in the Motor Vehicle Title Section, and retired in January of 1982. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, watching her hummingbirds, going to the slots, and being with her family, friends, and grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James G. Bailey; and her brother, Donald Ray Bailey of Camden. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Davis; her son, William Davis, and his wife Dawn; her daughter, Carol A. Tuxward, and her husband John, all of Camden. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Zane and Autumn Tuxward, Brad and Kiley Tuxward, Kyle and Harmony Tuxward, William James Davis, Elissa Rae Davis, and Courtney Paige Davis; and her nine great-grandchildren, Lillee, Gracie, Graham, Morgan, Christian, Clayton, Vera, Jadyn, and Parker. She is also remembered by her brother, James L. Bailey, and his wife Shirley; two nieces, one great-nephew and two great nieces, as well as a host of other family and friends. A gathering for Betty will be held Friday, Aug. 26, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, from 10 to 11 a.m., with services to follow immediately thereafter.
