DOVER - Eleanor M. Nesterak of Dover died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 93.
Mrs. Nesterak was born March 20, 1913, in Tamaqua, Pa., daughter of the late Augustus and Julia (Mokher) Bittle.
She worked in a card and gift shop and enjoyed her later years as a homemaker. At one time, she enjoyed bowling.
Mrs. Nesterak will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and dedicated grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Nesterak in August 1970.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara McDaniel of Dover; three grandsons, Douglas McDaniel of Denver, Michael McDaniel and his wife, Victoria of Dover and Jeffrey McDaniel of Dover; two great-granddaughters, Makenzie McDaniel of Denver and Ella McDaniel of Adelaide, Australia.
Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover, DE 19904; or Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
