GREENWOOD, Del. - Effie Yoder went home to be with her Lord on the Lord's Day, Sunday, May 15, 2022 after a short illness. She was born March 5, 1931 to Annie (Schrock) Miller and Eli Miller of Dover, Delaware. She was the fourth child in a family of five.
Effie was preceded in death by her parents; her four siblings, Ammon, Irvin, Esther (Miller) Chaffinch and Henry; her husband, Samuel Yoder; and a daughter-in-law, Ina Yoder.
Effie is survived by a son, Ronald Yoder (Martha) of Greenwood; two daughters also of Greenwood, Ramona Carter (Dale) and Rhonda Brenneman (Carl); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren who affectionately called her Grandma; extended family and friends.
Her services will take place at Greenwood Mennonite Church where she was a member. The visitation will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. and her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. all at Greenwood Mennonite Church, 12525 Shawnee Rd., Greenwood, Del. Burial to follow her service at the church cemetery.
The family wishes to thank many friends and relatives who have shown their support as we celebrate Mom's change of address to the streets of Heaven.
