Edward D. Carroll, 80
MILLSBORO - Edward D. Carroll, of Millsboro, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 80.
He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Charles and Margaret Carroll.
Mr. Carroll served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He worked as a driver for Bond Bread and Modern Laundry for 32 years.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Carol; his three sons, Stephen, Martin and Danny; two daughters, Ellen and Elizabeth; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church, Oak Orchard-Millsboro, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m.
A graveside service will be at noon Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Bailey Road, Yeadon, Pa.
