Edith Markowitz, 85
GREENWOOD - Edith Markowitz of Greenwood died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in her home. She was 85.
Mrs. Markowitz was born Dec. 31, 1921, in New Kensington, Pa., daughter of the late Jacob and Dora Miller.
She was a homemaker. She lived on the family farm for 50 years and loved to keep up with the farm happenings.
Mrs. Markowitz loved to decorate her house and enjoyed her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Isaac Markowitz, in 2001.
She is survived by a son, Alan Markowitz of Herndon, Va.; and two grandchildren, Jesse Markowitz and Hannah Markowitz both of Herndon.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
