E. Louise Price, 89

E. Louise Price of Wilmington died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, in Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wilmington. She was 89.

Miss Price was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Caroline County, Md., daughter of the late William Jr. and Henrietta (Dyer) Price.

She was a graduate of Beacom College, Wilmington.

Miss Price went on to work for Hercules Inc. of Wilmington, retiring in 1991.

After retiring, she wrote and privately published a cookbook, "Our Family Cookbook," and gave copies to family members and friends.

Miss Price was a member of the Hercules Women's Club and of another professional women's organization in Wilmington.

She is survived by a niece, Jean Roland.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md., where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
