Dylan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jean Hetrick (Ying), whom he shared a special relationship; his grandmother, Geraldine Lipscomb; and grandfather, William R. Jones (Pappy).
He is survived by his grandfather, Tommy (Pop Pop) and Zoila Lipscomb; grandmother, Judy Lee Jones (Memaw); his parents, Kevin and Carol Jones; his brother, Derek Jones and sister-in-law, Lori Jones; his aunts and uncles, Rodney (Bubby) and Roberta Jones, Kim Startt, and Pattie and Jack Keene. Dylan was the best uncle of Bliss and Ella Jones.
Dylan was a 2013 graduate of Milford High School. He loved all sports but baseball, lacrosse, and golf were his favorites. It is suspected that Dylan was Delaware's only Detroit Lions fan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially surf fishing. Dylan enjoyed being employed in the construction industry. Hot Mix Asphalt was his favorite sector #pavingking.
He touched many lives, more than he knew, which brings peace and calm to his family. His infectious laughter and bright smile will be remembered by all. He loved to make people laugh.
A Service and celebration of life is planned for Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Houston Fire Department. Visitors are welcomed beginning at 11 a.m. with a service beginning at 12:30 p.m. Friends and family are encouraged to share memories.
In lieu of flowers, please consider joining Gift of Life. Dylan was a selfless donor and would have been happy if his death encouraged others (Donors1.org)
