DuPhily SMYRNA - Dwayne Edward DuPhily, born on Sept.10, 1961, left this world to rest peacefully in the arms of his Father in Heaven. Dwayne will be deeply missed by two daughters, Brittney and Erin; his mother Marilyn (Rusty) Sheridan; a sister, April Jackson (husband Rick); three brothers, Jerry DuPhily (wife Lindsay); Michael DuPhily; Pastor Ken DuPhily (wife Pastor Lynn); his stepfather, Lee Sheridan (wife Elneta); step sister Sandy Molner, his Uncle Gordon Pfeiffer (wife Suzanne); his best friend, Gary Peters; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dwayne graduated from Caesar Rodney High School and joined the Army. He was devoted to the military and proud of his many commendations. After the Army, he went back to school to become a Union Electrician and worked for Diamond Electric and Amtrak, Bear Yard. He loved to cook and will be remembered for his famous meatballs, as well as his giving nature and willingness to help whenever needed. He enjoyed helping his mother at events and in the office of the Brain Injury Association of Delaware. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 14th at Living Waters Christian Church, 5095 N. DuPont Hwy in Dover, next right past Shooters Choice on RT 13 south in Cheswold. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675, or the Brain Injury Association of Delaware, P.O. Box 1897, Dover, DE 19903.
