Dr. Theodore Robert Wiberg, 60
SEAFORD - Dr. Theodore Robert Wiberg of Seaford died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. He was 60.
Dr. Wiberg was born in Kenilworth, N.J., son of the late Christian Otto Sr. and Elsie Louise (Stevens) Wiberg.
He received a bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University, a master's degree from Central Michigan University and a doctorate from University of Maryland, College Park.
He established the respiratory therapy program at Salisbury University, where he was an associate professor for 24 years retiring June 2006.
Dr. Wiberg loved fishing, golf and tennis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christian O. Wiberg Jr.; and two sisters, Elsie and Genevieve.
He is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine (Riddle) Wiberg, whom he married June 26, 1970 in Annapolis, Md.; a daughter, Kirsten E. Wiberg of Seaford; and two sisters, Joyce and Agnes.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Great Hall, Holloway Hall, on the campus of Salisbury University.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Salisbury University Foundation Inc., c/o Ted Wiberg Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 2655, Salisbury, MD 21802.
