Dr. Paul E. Gorrin

Dr. Paul E. Gorrin, 80
MILFORD - On May 27, 2023, Dr. Paul E. Gorrin, peacefully passed away at Polaris Heathcare.
Dr. Gorrin was born on June 16, 1942 in New York City to the late Michael and Dena Gorrin.
He graduated from the Manhattan High School of Music and Art in 1959, from Columbia College in 1963, and from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1968. After college, Dr. Gorrin did a Fellowship at the University of Vermont in Lung Cancer research.
He moved to Delaware in 1981, where he practiced Internal Medicine in Milford and Millsboro, and served as Medical Director at Stockley Center in Georgetown. He retired in 2012.
Dr. Gorrin was a member of the Medical Society of Delaware, Bebee Medical Staff, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
He was an avid Fisherman, civic activist, poet, writer, family man, and loved baseball.
Dr. Gorrin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann Gorrin. He is also survived by his children, Ellen Gorrin, Daniel Gorrin and his wife Leah, David Gorrin and his wife Sally, and Emily Martino and her husband Brian; and his grandchildren, Bailey and Max Gorrin, Eleanor and Louise Gorrin, and Maya Martino.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, at 10:30AM on Friday 6/2. Friends and Family may gather at 9:30AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center or to the Brandywine SPCA.
