Dorothy "Dot" Willis,
MILFORD - On March 16, 2021, Dorothy "Dot" Willis, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
She was born on July 16, 1941, in Harrison Township, PA, to the late Clair and Nancy Wylie.
Dot started her working career at the F.B.I. as a secretary from 1960 to 1966. After that she was a secretary at various places before working for the Milford School District as an Administrative Secretary to the Superintendent.
Mrs. Willis was a member and former officer of Professional Secretaries International, First State Chapter, and a member of the Delaware Educational Office Professionals.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, volunteering at Milford library and making lap quilts for donations to nursing homes.
Dot is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ralph Willis. She is also survived by her daughter, Kathleen Willis, her son, David Willis and his wife Sharon, her granddaughters, Claudia and Natalie Willis, her brother, Ronald Wylie and his wife Anna Marie, and her sister, Lois Bowser.
The family will receive visitors at Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave, Milford, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday 3/20, with a funeral service starting at 2 p.m. If you plan to attend the funeral please call 302-422-9117 to make reservations so socially distant seating can be planned.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church, and / or to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
