Dorothy May Hall Pardee, born Apr. 22, 1932, daughter of George and Mary Hall of Kent County, left the troubles of this life behind on Feb. 6, 2017 after an extended illness. She married her first love, Stephen T. Pardee Sr., and they resided in Del. for their entire lives together, first in Dover and then in Bowers Beach. Dorothy continued living in their Bowers Beach home after Stephen's death until she moved to Ore. for the last year of her life. She was a dedicated homemaker with two well-loved children, Stephen T. Pardee Jr. (Wilmington) and Shiela Pardee (Eugene, Ore.). Dorothy was a sensitive, private person who loved flowers and country music. Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Harvey. She is survived by her brother, William W. Hall (Bowers Beach); five grandchildren, Joshua Pardee (Hartly), Eric Pardee (Hartly), Aaron Siemanowski (Newark), Benjamin Siemanowski (Bellingham, Wash.), and Teresa Siemanowski (Eugene, Ore.); She was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren. We will all miss her lovely smile. Visitation for family and friends will be at Trader Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 13th 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Instead of flowers, the family requests contributions to Bowers Beach Volunteer Fire Company or the Modern Maturity Center MANNA Meals on Wheels program. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.traderfh.com
