GEORGETOWN - Dorothy M. Criste of Georgetown died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, in Courtland Manor, Dover. She was 77.
Mrs. Criste was born in North Braddock, Pa., daughter of the late John and Agnes Duray.
She worked at Gimbels Department Store in Pittsburgh before moving to Delaware in 1985.
Mrs. Criste was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Criste, in 2005; and a brother, John Duray.
She is survived by two sons, The Rev. Robert J. Criste-Troutman of Washington, N.J., and Edward L. Criste of Fredericksburg, Va.; a daughter, Mary A. St. Jacques of Georgetown; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Duray of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer"s Association, Georgetown Regional office, P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947.
