HARRINGTON - Dorothy 'DD' A. Evans passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 15, 2017.
DD was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center and she loved crabbing, boating, fishing, cooking on the grill, and she loved to help her mom.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and Ray, as well as Joseph Sr.; aunts, Kathy and Nancy; uncle, Jackie; and a very special cousin, Little Eddie.
DD is survived by her parents, Joseph B. and Dorothy M. Evans; children, Victoria, Jessica, and Joseph; grandmother, Della Evans; sisters, Jody and Jennifer; aunts, Diane, Anna, and Lill; and her nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Felton, DE 19943, where friends may call after 10 a.m. A visitation will be held the night before on Sunday, May 21 from 6 – 8 p.m. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Cemetery, Dover.
