Dorotha Lee Collison

GREENSBORO, Md. - Dorotha Lee Collison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 at Bayhealth Kent General in Dover. She was born on Nov. 24, 1930 in Greensboro, Md., to the late Elmer and Anna Marie Porter Stubbs. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School who went on to work as a secretary for the Caroline County Board of Education, retiring in 1988. In addition to her work Mrs. Collison attended the Women's Group, Joy of Greensboro Baptist Church. Mrs. Collison was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Roland Collison; brother, Ronnie Stubbs; and sister, Sandy McMillan. She is survived by her the greatest joys of her life, her two daughters, Diane Sullenberger (Lee), of Dover, and Karen (Joe Ben) Morris, of Smithfield, Va.; as well as her grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan and Wendy; and great-grandchildren, Monica, Landon and Kenzie. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug., 27, 2016 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro, Md., with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Greensboro Cemetery.
