MILFORD - Doris M. McNatt passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 86. Doris was born in Milford on April 17, 1928, daughter of the late Willis Harry and May C. (Maloney) Voshell. She graduated from Milford High School with the Class of 1946. Shortly after, Doris was hired as a secretary with the L.D. Caulk Co. in Milford. She remained there for a few years before accepting a secretarial position with the Milford School District which she held for 37 years before retiring. Doris had many pass times she enjoyed; playing games on her computer, walking, shopping, and she loved to read and play canasta. During baseball season, she was also a fanatic Phillies fan! She volunteered her time at the Milford Memorial Hospital gift shop and the Milford Museum, and was a member of the Milford Century Club. Above all, Doris was devoted to her family and her faith, joining the First Presbyterian Church in Milford in 1961. She was an active member of the Women's Association where she also served as their Treasurer. She was an ordained Deacon and was currently serving as an ordained Elder and the church Treasurer. Doris was a familiar face at many other church activities and receptions in the fellowship hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul D. McNatt, Jr. in 2003. Doris is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary W. and Betsy McNatt of Columbia, Tennessee, and Eugene B. and Carolyn McNatt of Milton; five grandchildren, Mary McNatt Bond and her husband John, Jaime McNatt, Michael Cohan, Chris Cohan and his wife Jennifer, and Benjamin Rosson; six great grandchildren, Chance Rosson, Luke Rosson, Sellars Bond, Brittany Klecan, Dawson Cohan, and Willow Cohan; a nephew, Joseph Parker, Jr. and his wife Linda, and their son, Joseph Parker, III, all of Hockessin; and a niece, Janice Penman of Texas. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 S. Walnut St, Milford, where friends can greet the family one hour prior. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 172, Milford, DE, 19963. Arrangements handled by Rogers Funeral Home, Milford.< guestbook>
