FELTON - Doris L. Wisk, of Felton, passed away Thurs., March 31, 2011, at her residence. She was born on Jan. 14, 1929, in Brooklyn New York. Doris was an current Member and Organist at St. John's Lutheran Church, Peace Lutheran Church and Others. She was a homemaker and enjoyed oil painting, showing dogs and Arabian horses. She loved being in the garden. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Nelson Harris Miller and Ruth Mae (Hubbard) Miller. Her husband George A. Wisk pass away in May of 1993. She is survived by three sons and there wives, Brian and Heather Wisk, George and Debbie Wisk both of Felton, Bruce and Terry Wisk of Seaford; two daughters and there husbands, Sharon and Raymond Taylor of Lakeland, Fla. and Carol and Ronnie Jarrell of Viola; a brother, Nelson Miller of Mt. Morris, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grand children. Friends may call on Mon., April 4, 2011, from Noon to 1 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Hopkins Cemetery, Felton. The family suggest donation be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, Lotus Street and Park Ave. Dover, DE. or to the St. John's Lutheran School and Early Learning Center.
