CAMDEN/WYOMING - Doris Johnson, of Camden/Wyoming, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at home peacefully after a long battle with cancer. She was 68. Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 18, 1942, in Wilmington. She worked for Glassworks in Camden as a receptionist prior to that she had worked for Marvel Contracting as a flagger. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Camden/Wyoming VFW and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Little Creek Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a member of the Little Creek United Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed gardening, boating, and fishing. She loved animals of all types. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Short; stepfather, Leonard Slacks Short; her brother, Smith Hand; and her grandson, JR Frazier. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Roland Johnson of Camden/Wyoming; sons, Kelly Frazier and his wife Rocky of Little Creek, Ken Frazier and his wife Amy Cox of Little Creek; daughters, Krissy Frazier of Hemet, Calif., Gail Johnson of Chestertown, Md., and Cathy Mundorf of Milford; sister, Mitzi Rosenlund of Conowingo, Md.; and seven grandchildren, Tiffany Frazier, JR Frazier, Mary Frazier, Gregory Frazier, Spence Mundorf, Samantha Yates, and Taylor Yates. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10). Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901; Little Creek Vol. Fire Dept., PO Box 327, Little Creek, DE 19961; or Little Creek U.M. Church, PO Box 476, Little Creek, DE 19961.
