Doris F. Taylor, 84

GEORGETOWN - Doris F. Taylor of Georgetown passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, in her home. She was 84.

Mrs. Taylor was born Aug. 16, 1923, in Baltimore, daughter of the late John and Lillian (Phillips) Frisch.

She loved gardening and tending to her flowers and yard.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church, Millsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Andrew Taylor, in 2006; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Holly, in 2005.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Virginia Taylor Sparks and David Sparks of Georgetown, and Sandra and Timothy Starkey of Hunt Valley, Md.; a son and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Cindi Taylor of Chesapeake, Va., a sister, Ida Beyerling of Aberdeen, Md.; five grandchildren, Sheila Kramer of Milton, Steven Atwell of Georgetown, Brian Reed of Georgetown, Jesse Taylor of Chesapeake and Monica Taylor of Chesapeake; and two great-grandchildren, Thomas Kramer and Chloe Conner.

Services and burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244; or to Zoar United Methodist Church, 24463 Gravel Hill Road, Millsboro, DE 19966.
