SEAFORD - Donna "Jane" F. Medford passed away on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1944 to the late David and Geraldine Fluharty of Seaford.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, O. Wayne Medford; her son, Bryan Medford (Christy); and granddaughter, Emma Grace Medford all of Seaford. Jane is also survived by a brother, David Fluharty (Rose) of Laurel; two sisters, Ann Buckley (Seward) of Baltimore, Md. and Debra Marvel (Ric) of Seaford; two nieces, Lynn Riggin (Mark) of Laurel, Kristen Emory (Charles) of Bear and Matthew Buckley (Madeline) of Baltimore and several great nieces and nephews.
Jane was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her family. She enjoyed cooking, going on cruises and riding in her convertible. Her main passion was making and embroidering quilts which were donated to Wounded Warriors, Salvation Army and Delaware Children's Aid. Over her life she had worked at DuPont, Eckerd Drugs and State Farm Insurance.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 805 Atlanta Rd., Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Blades Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to Delaware Hospice Inc., 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
