NEWARK - Donald Maurice Phares Jr. died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, in Christiana Hospital, Newark. He was 9 days old.
Donald was born Nov. 28, 2006, in Christiana Hospital, the son of Donald Maurice Phares Sr. and Stacey Ann Eley.
He is survived by four grandparents, Leonard and Dorian Eley of Laurel, and Donald Walker and Ursula Phares, both of Wilmington; an uncle, Jarrell Eley of Laurel; two aunts, Donella Phares and Donieshia Phares, both of Wilmington; three great-grandmothers Anna Hotten of Laurel, and Helen Walker and Emma Phares, both of Wilmington; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Services will be noon Tuesday in The Storm Shelter Ministry, North Laurel Plaza, U.S. 13, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Leonard Eley will officiate.
Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
