BRIDGEVILLE - Donald James Hudson, of Bridgeville, formerly of Milton, passed away on Feb. 26, 2012, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford surrounded by his loving caregivers and family. He was 67. Donald was born on Oct. 8, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Harry Hudson, Sr.; grandparents, Anna Belle and John R. Hudson; his Aunt and uncle, Louie M. and Norman (Lefty) Jackson; and brother, Harry Hudson, Jr. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Needham, Beverly Ivens; brothers, John, Ronald and Michael Hudson; sister-in-law and guardian, Clara Ann Hudson; aunts, Ann Hudson and Jane Hudson; his former caregivers, Shirlee and Dan Shellhammer; and his current and loving caregivers at the Bridgeville Neighborhood Home of the Salvation Army. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
