CLAYTON, DE - Donald E. Dulin, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Donald was born on April 2, 1936 in Clayton, Delaware, son of the late Elwood and Gladys Dulin.
Donald served in the Delaware National Guard and devoted his life to his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and played an important role to many nieces and nephews. He was dedicated to working on the family farm and was a hard working gentle man with a wonderful smile.
In addition this parents; Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Florence Conley Dulin; his sister, Maywood Dulin Burchard; his brothers, Lee, Elwood and William Dulin.
Donald is survived by his son, Donald Dulin, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Andy Cherriman, all of Clayton; three grandchildren, Deanna Custodi (Gino), Donnie Dulin, III, Amber Howton (Zach); five great grandchildren, Derek Dulin, Macayla Mickens (Andre), Anthony Custodi, Abby Howton, Aaron Howton; and great grandson, Mannix Mickens.
Services will be held on Monday, June 5 at Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main Street, Smyrna, Delaware. Friends and family may call at 11:00 a.m.; services will begin at noon. Burial will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association at 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or via on line to https://www.alz.org/nca/donate.
