Diane Barbara Blake

SMYRNA - Diane Barbara Blake passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2018.
Mrs. Blake was born on Jan. 23, 1947 in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Harry and Elaine (Johnson) Bush.
She retired at the early age of 62 after a long career as an Executive Assistant for the Lyondell Bassell Company of Wilmington.
Diane loved sitting on the beach watching the waves and reading romance novels. She was a fan and collector of Thomas Kincaid paintings and was a member of St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church in Smyrna. She loved her church.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve K. Blake.
Diane is survived by her son, Steven K. Blake, II and his wife Jennifer of Elkton, Md.; her daughters, Christine A. Blake of Middletown and Kimberly D. Blake of Milford; six grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Jonathan, Brandon, Olivia, Tony, Steven, III, and Alexis; and her great granddaughter, Adrianna.
Services will be privately held.
