REHOBOTH BEACH - Diana (Lasseth) Owens of Rehoboth Beach passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 59.
Mrs. Owens was born Oct. 8, 1947, in Baltimore, daughter of the late Dominick J. and Mildred (Weaver) Lasseth.
She was employed as a pharmacy tech in Baltimore prior to her move to Delaware in 1998.
Mrs. Owens lived her life as a Christian and a loving and caring mother and wife.
She enjoyed making crafts of all kind.
Mrs. Owens was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, Rehoboth Beach, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Lewes.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Oliver "Pete" Owens; a son and a daughter-in-law, Dominic and Julie Owens of Baltimore; a daughter, Kimberly (Owens) Nauman of Millsboro; two grandchildren, Collin Nauman and Diana Nauman, both of Millsboro; a brother Robert Lasseth of Baltimore; two sisters, Marilyn Busch and Carolyn Colonna, both of Baltimore; and many cousins.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will follow in St. Peter"s Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes.
Deacon John Smith will officiate.
The family will accept flowers, or suggests memorial contributions to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 327, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
